First, highlight the word you want to link (i.e., click here) with your mouse.
When you are writing your post there is a little icon at the top that has a green circle with a link type thing (it's right beside the ITALICS button). Just click on that and a box will pop up. Type in the address you want to link the word to and your set! Just remember you need to have whatever it is you want to link HIGHLIGHTED!
It took me a little while to figure this out myself. So don't feel bad :)

awwww THANK YOU for passing on the award to me!! i was shocked to see my name on the list, i actually did a double take just to make sure it was really me ^^ (otherwise it would have been soooo awkward commenting like this when i didnt really receive it hahha)
oh anddd for the link... when youre in the "edit post" window, just highlight the name you want then click on the "link" icon (it kinda looks like an "8" turned to its side), thennn put the URL there... i hope that made sense?

If you want to put just the name as a link, in editor there is a hyerlink button. If you click on that i think you can type the address and give it a title (their name). I've only done it once and it worked, i hope this helped, i'm not that great at giving instructions lol.
