loreal hair product haul + de lorenzo rejuven8 the ends

as always, im trying to help my hair :) i style it almost every day and it has been through alot (ive gone from black to brown to blonde to brown to red to blonde to blah blah blah!!!) it needs help! anyways, here are some products i bought today, some ive used before, some i havent!

i initially went in just to purhcase the loreal shine blonde shampoo. i adore this stuff, it makes my hair feel soft and helps tone down the brasiness. other "blonde" shampoos (usually a purple colour) leave my hair feeling brittle. its about$25 per bottle. i have used the conditioner in the past, but if you're only using it a  few times a week to tone down brasiness, you don't really need to purhcase the conditioner! (imo)

however, i then decided i may aswell try a new treatment, because they had a "buy 2 loreal products, and receive 15% off" promotion on. the lady who was helping me suggested a buy a pack instead - 3 products for under $50! (worth on average, over $90).

the initial pack came with 3 products: the shine blonde shampoo, the shine blonde conditioner, and a "thermo smoothing milk for natural control".

the lady was nice enough to swap the shine blonde conditioner, for the "absolut repair" mask that was in a different pack! she also gave me the option of a serum, instread of the thermo milk. but i went with the thermo milk :)

so basically in the pack i received the shine blonde shampoo, absolut repair mask, and the thermo milk.

i used the absolut repair mask today (shampooed, towel dried, left on for 3 minutes, rinsed) and it's made my hair quite soft! haven't used it enough to give a proper review, but it doesn't weight down my naturally thin (and non naturallt damaged) hair. so far, so good.

i followed the treatment by applying some of the thermo milk to my towel dried hair :) however, i didn't blow dry it. can't give a review on this just yet! but like the treatment, hasn't weighed down my hair, or made it feel greasy!

the other reason i went to hairhouse warehouse today was to but the de lorenzo rejuven8 the ends cream! in the past ive used up 2 tubes of this (the first one was my brothers, i stole it haha), and it's amazing! it smells delicious, and it's the cheapest and most effective ends serum ive ever used! it's only $18.50 for this tube, and it came with "25% extra" haha. if you have dry ends, you should definitely give this a go. can be used on wet or dry hair!

empties :) with reviews

Ive been collecting most of my "empties" (used products) in a box for a few months now, and Ive been meaning to do mini reviews on them all! Ive broken them down into groups:

1. "Excellent" Products I will/have re purchase/d.
2. "Average" Products that I have re purchased in the past, but have come across better products since.
3. "Luxury" Products, that are not a neccessity, but I would re purchase if I had $$.
4. Products that are just useless.

* all reviews are based on my personal opinion on the product! im sure that some of the ones I love, you may hate, and some of the ones I hate, you may love!

1. "Excellent" Products I will/have re purchase/d.
Clockwise from Left: Loreal Shine Blonde Shampoo, Vera Wang Princess Perfume, Australis Mineral Inject Lipgloss in Lambada, Clarins Hydra Matte Moisturizer, Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Cleanser, The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Blotting Tissues(Centre).

Loreal Shine Blonde Shampoo. This shampoo is a "purple tinted" shampoo, and it helps to eliminate some "brassiness" that most blondes suffer from! I have tried other brands, like Joico (which dries out my hair quite a bit!), but this is by far the best! It won't give you the same result as foils, or even a toner, but it will definitely help in between salon visits! It leaves my hair soft, and gives it a bit of shine :).
Australis Mineral Inject Lipgloss in Lambada. Have spoken a trillion times about this. Just love it. Under $10, moisturizing, beautiful colour. It doesn't stay on as long as say Mac Lipglass, buuuutt its a third of the price and is far more moisturizing! Perfect for sensitive lips.
Clarins Hydra Matte Moisturizer I have re purchased this 3 times (I think?) since November (I think?) last year! I love it. I have combo skin (dry cheeks, oily nose, normal fore head, conjested chin - annnnd its sensitive too!) and this definitely helps! my skin loves this stuff!
Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Cleanser. I have used this on and off since I was about 12. It's non drying, makes my skin feel super soft, and helps with pimples and conjestion. It doesn't perform miracles (I don't have blackheads, but I do have large-ish pores!) but other exfoliators tend to either strip my skin of moisture (that icky tight feeling) or makes my skin red! I use this about 2 - 3 times a week :)
The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Blotting Tissues. Love these! I have an oily nose, as mentioned, and I need these. I seriously could not live without these! They're under $5 and have 60 sheets. I've used other oil blotting sheets, but most of them take off my make up aswell! These dont.

2. "Average" Products that I have re purchased in the past, but have come across better products since.
Clockwise from Left: Lee Stafford Dry Shampoo (Mini), Jurlique Daily Exfoliating Cream, Loreal Elvive "Anti Breakage" Deep Repairing Masque, Simple Light Moisturizer, Clarins Pore Minimizing Serum, Tea Tree Oil.

Lee Stafford Dry Shampoo (Mini). Honestly, I bought these because of the cute packaging. Ive gone through about 3 or 4 bottles so far. Dry shampoo is great, but when you think about it, it's just baby powder in a spray can.. So, I can do without these! A reason I wouldn't re purchase is that it runs out pretty quickly! I don't get that many uses out of a can.
Jurlique Daily Exfoliating Cream. I was in love with this stuff, but at the end of the day it's too expensive for an exfoliator ($50+) and it's extremely messy to use!
Loreal Elvive "Anti Breakage" Deep Repairing Masque. I don't believe in any "miracle" products out there that can save your hair, but this does a pretty good job. It makes my hair feel soft and nourished, it only takes a few minutes, doesn't weigh down my hair, and it's only about $10! Pretty decent stuff :)
Simple Light Moisturizer. Another old favourite! I found it to stop being effective though. It's about $10 which is great for a moisturizer! Is excellent for sensitive skin, but after switching to Clarins, I tried to go back to this Simple moisturizer, but I just couldn't Clarins is about 10 times better (unfortunately, Clarins is also 5 times more expensive!). But I would reccommend this to sensitive/combo skin who are on a budget.
Clarins Pore Minimizing Serum. I don't even know if this worked or not? it definitely didn't help with controlling sebum, however my pores may have down sized a little bit. I never actually paid for this, it came as a gift pack.  I won't re purchase, but I will use it if it comes in another gift pack :) thinking about trying a Clinique pore minimizer next!
Tea Tree Oil. This is the only thing I use for pimples, however I had a bad experience the other week because I reapplied it too often and I had a bit of irritation! So when you do use this, only maximum of twice a day! and just on the pimple, not the skin around! However, this does work! I find it more effective (and less irritating) than marketed pimple poppers! It's also under $5 for a jar that lasts forever.

3. "Luxury" Products, that are not a neccessity, but I would re purchase if I had $$.
Clockwise from Left: ModelCo Skin Drink, The Body Shop Peppermint Intensive Foot Rescue, Clarins Pure and Radiant Mask, The Body Shop Milk Bath, The Body SHop Raspberry Body Butter, Jurlique Soothing Herbal Recovery Gel, Tigi Bedhead Dumb Blond Reconstructor Treatment.

ModelCo Skin Drink. Basically, this is a spray on body moisturizer. It's really convenient in terms of not having to manually slather your body when you cbf. You just spray instead! However, it's about $30 per can, and doesn't last that long. I would buy it, if money grew on trees :)
The Body Shop Peppermint Intensive Foot Rescue. Mmm. Smells delish! This product is gorgeous, I would re purchase (and most probably will when I caveeee) but at the moment I'm using body moisturizer that I don't like using on my body! Also, this stuff seems a bit too yummy and gorgeous to be using on my FEET! I'd rather slather my body with it hahaha
Clarins Pure and Radiant Mask. This stuff is okay. But expensive. Nuff said.
The Body Shop Milk Bath. I enjoy having baths in this :) makes it all creamy, softens my skin, but it's annoying if I want to shave because it leaves a film on my skin and then when I shave, the film gets stuck in the razor and makes shaving less effective. Same  goes if I wash my hair in the tub, just makes my hair a weeennny bit greasy. But if you leave your hair up, and just lierally want to soak in the tub, this stuff it lovely.
The Body Shop Raspberry Body Butter. Love this stuff! But, I find The Body Shop Body Butters to be too expensive, because I moisturize like a crazy person! Seriously, day and night, and I don't go easy on the moisturizer! I slather it on! But this body butter smells amazing, it's my favourite. They don't have it in stock at the moment though :(
Jurlique Soothing Herbal Recovery Gel. It's okay, but for the size shown it was about $70, and for a larger size it's about $140! I didn't see a noticeable difference when using this, and if you buy a product for $70 and use it for a month, you expect decent results, right?
Tigi Bedhead Dumb Blond Reconstructor Treatment. Smells like pineapple :) I do enjoy using this, and yes, it does look amazing in my bathroom. It makes my hair soft, and smell lovely, buuuut I'm too keen to try other treatments out there! I will probably re purchase this at a later date. Basically, worth trying, but no miracles.

4. Products that are just useless.
Hair Products (Top): Loreal Elvive Nutri Gloss Conditioning Shine Spray, Kerastase Noctogenist Overnight Revitalizing Treatment, Schwarzkopf Bonacure Repair Rescue Sealed Ends.

Loreal Elvive Nutri Gloss Conditioning Shine Spray. Just makes my hair greasy! Tried spraying less, from further away, when wet, when dry. But still weighed it down, and made it oily. Did not condition. Useless.
Kerastase Noctogenist Overnight Revitalizing Treatment. Okay, this stuff is okay. But for $50? I don't think so.
Schwarzkopf Bonacure Repair Rescue Sealed Ends. I won't re purchase. It's okay though, the price is decent, made my ends kinda soft. But didn't improve the condition, and I've already got something that works waaay better.

Body Products (Middle): Parlor Coconut and White Peach Hand cream, Dove Supreme Body Silk, Reniu Virgin Coconut Body Butter "Watermelon Infusion".

Parlor Coconut and White Peach Hand cream. I loved the scent at first, but it definitely made me sick after a few uses! It's okay, does moisturize a bit, but I've found a hand cream that works alot better.
Dove Supreme Body Silk. It's okay, the tub didn't last me very long, and in the winter it was a bit hard to spread. It moisturizers okay, but the scent is too "old lady" for me.
Reniu Virgin Coconut Body Butter "Watermelon Infusion". Nom, nom nom. Smells gorgeous :) Kinda. Like Coconut and a little bit of watermelon. Quite rich, and if your prone to body acne (little bit of conjestion?) then this will definitely clog your pores on your body! It's very rich, and far too rich for the summer because it just feels like your sticky all day long haha. it doesn't suit winter either, because who goes aorund smelling like coconut and watermelon when it's 4 degrees? weirddddd..

Face Products (Bottom): Lush Eau Roma Water, Jurlique Intense Recovery Mask.

Lush Eau Roma Water. "Excellent for dry, old or sensitive skins." I used this on my cheeks (dry, and sensitive) and it didn't do anything. It's just kinda useless? Not worth a cent. I popped it into a spray bottle and just used it as a refresher, but it's still in the spray bottle, because I hardly use it. Maybe in the mornings after a big night out, just to feel half awake :)
Jurlique Intense Recovery Mask. I loved using this. It's great when it's part of a routine, however, I didn't get any "results", and it was a bit expensive! There are far better face masks, for half the price!

Other (Diagonal, Right): Sportsgirl Give Some Lip Lipgloss, Clinique Superfit Makeup, Covergirl Advance Radiance Age Defying Compact Makeup, Loreal Telescopic Mascara, Impulse Body Spray.

These last items are okay, I used to enjoy using them, it's just that I've found more affective products :) Not giving them a bad rap, and I used to love the Clinique foundation and Loreal telescopic mascara (I still use this, but it's in a black tube, not silver!).

If you would like any more information (based on my opinion) of these products, just ask :)

20/6 + 21/6 E/OOTD

Tad uninspired. I thought I was getting back into blogging, guess not :( I've been takings photo's, but the photos never turn out how it actually is in "real life" !!! Cannot wait to get a new cameraaaa!

Yesterday:
I used a really cheap palette for this look! Well, th silver shadow came from the cheap palette. It's a "models prefer" palette, and it has 8 eyeshadows, and 2 blushes (one light pink, one very dark pink - I used the light pink for my cheeks.) The silver shadow from the palette is actually kinda amazing! It's heaps pigmented, but the staying power is average. Pretty sure I paid a couple of dollars for the whole palette!!!

The black shadow is a Revlon quad e/s palette I bought agggges ago.
And the eyeliner is my favourite, Face of Australia liquid liner! It's under $10!!! goes on easily (I'm retarded when it comes to liquid liner!), and lasts all day :)

I went out to dinner wearing thisssss.
It's so extremely hard to take photos of the wholeeee outfit!! I would use my timer, but it doesn't work ever since my camera was dropped in water!
Ohhh, and today, some random chick came up and asked where I got the boots from :) They're from Rubi Shoes!! they were like $60ish?

Today:
I'm using Maybelline Lash Stilhetto in these pictures, and I'm not all that impressed with this mascara! The first two times I used it, I was madly inlove with it! But now I reckon I'll definitely be going back to my beloved Loreal Telescopic!

I'm getting my hair done tmoz :) It is sooooo brassy right now!! Haven't had it done in like THREE months! I was trying to grow it out, but the regrowth is just ridiculous!

O/FOTN + dumbness

Okay, well I'm going to start this post off with an explanation! I don't know why, but likeeee, I just feel like I have to give one haha.
Basically, I'm just talking about how bloggers put pictures up from their nights out, and while I'd love to do that and make my blog more personal, it's like I can't! because I am a total cadbury. For those of you who don't know what that means (sure you allll do), it's just like after one or two drinks I start not only being intoxicated but LOOKING intoxicated! I look so dumb when I've been drinking!!! Here's some proof!
Therefore, because I don't really go to my friends for pre drinks and be like "hey, I write a blog, do you mind taking a photo of what I'm wearing?" I don't have anyone (except my brother) to take photos of my outfits! My outfits are boringggg anyways. Anyways, that's my explanation :)

These are my new heels that I bought last week :) Love them! they are SOOO comfortable! wore them out 2 nights in a row, which I never do because usually I have to switch shoes orelse I get the sorest feet! Ohhh, and see that white stain in the second picture? Yesss, I did get rid of it before I went out! facewipe + hair dryer :)
Ps. No, this isn't a very interesting post haha. I will do some reviews tomorrow :)

Mini Haul + New Wayne Cooper Bag + New Sportsgirl Thigh High Boots

So I was going to do a FOTD along with my new bags and boots, but got lazy! :) So here's just a few quickies I bought when I went shopping at the local Tar-jayyyy with my mum this arvo.

Le Tan Fast Tan Instant Tanning Mousse in Deep Bronze
about $10-$15
Iam quite pale! For reference, Im a MAC nc20. After going out a few times with my friend from a sunnier state than my own, I decided I should tan up so I don't look so creepy next to her! I've used this before, for about a month last year I was obsessed with tanning!
But I couldn't find one that didn't turn orange (because I have pale skin, alot of tanners can go orange!), and that faded evenly (as even as a fake tan can fade!).
Anyways, I've tried heaps. But won't get into them all, as I am planning on doing a post just on the fake tan products I've used. This one is my favourite :)
*Note: I only use one coat!! Followed by a "daily tanning moisturizer".

Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation in Soft Beige
about $17
This is my HG foundation, except I usually get it in Ivory, the shade lighter. But because I realised that I probably needed a foundation  that matches the fake tan! Works alot better than applying bronzer imo.

Modelista Highlighting Powder
under $10
Bought this because it was something like 30% off? and I think the packaging is tacky, but cuuuute :) Kinda like Tigi Bedhead products!

Yaaay. Finally got my Wayne Cooper bag off of lay buy!! I hate being povooo cos it means I can't afford to buy things out right!! Bought it from Myers for $199. Bit peeved, cos like a week afterwards they had 30% off bags! Uhhh. Anyways, I love it :).

Also, took my Sportsgirl Thigh High Boots off lay buy aswell :) they're $230 from Sportsgirl. I think I may already be over them? Don't know.. Cbf trying them on haha

"We Love Sounds" Pre Planned OOTD

Hello Lovelies :)

Im deathly sick as I write this... I don't care that my mum thinks that the bumps on the back of my tongue are "taste buds" and that "she was them too" ... I believe they're instensely swollen glands haha.

Hmm no but really, I'm sick, I have a cold (chroniccccccccccc!!!!!) and I'm dev'd cos WE LOVE SOUNDS is on monday, and I wanna be fighting fit for that! Hell yes to free tickets :)
Some dude on Saturday night was like "here" and waved 3 free tickets in front of my face. I love drunken WLS promoters hahaha. Helps if they're a guy aswell!

Anyways, so usually I pre plan what I wear. I've never been to a winter concert before so I'm baffled. All I know is that in winter, even though it's like 10degrees, I get hot when I dance! so here's what I'm thinkinggggggggg:
So basically, (basic is the key word), it's ripped shorts, black knee high boots, a cardi (so I don't look too insane), and a singlet (so that when I get hot I can take off my cardi instead of sweating like a mofo into it). Buuuuut. I'm gonna see what my friends are wearing :)

Ohhh, and I got my thigh boots today!!! Will do a post on them later :) I also have a FOTD from Saturday night, and a few bits and bobs. I'm so lazy.

and I'm concerned about my makeup. WLS starts at 12 midday, buttt the pre party starts at 9 am. WLS ends at 12pm that night! so that's literally........ over half a day...... How is my makeup gonna last that long? haha

New Nude Pumps +OOTD + Satin Indulgence

I had a ridiculously good day. No joke! It was amazinggggggg. :) sooo excited for tomorrow night! Don't you love when you realise that life is great? Happy happy happy :) haha

Anyways!!!! Here is part of the greatness of my great day :) New shoes. Not just any new shoes. New nude pumps! I have been looking for a pair like this for MONTHS. I found them last Saturday (when I bought the black booties), put them on hold, and then bought them yesterday. The only thing was, the Myers I got the first pair from didn't have any 8.5 (I'm usually an 8, but these were small sizes). Because I reeaallllyy wanted these to. fricken. die. for. shoes I decided that even though my outer two toes were squished to buggery, that yes, these shoes did fit.

So I picked them up from Lay Buy yesterday, took them home, tried them on, still didn't fit.

I decided to "wear them in" a bit, but after twenty minutes my feet hated me.

I took them back today, and asked them to ring other stores. First five stores said they didn't have any. But the last store did! 8.5 Tony Bianco Nude Pumps :) Happy happy happy. They were $139.95. I'm a tad bummed, cos on wednesday they had a 30% of all shoes sale. Grrr. But whatever, these are the perfect fucking shoes. <3
These shoes are perfect because they're not oober high (like some other deadly ones I own) like, don't get me wrong, I loveee intense high heels, but for town they're not really suitable! Also, because I'm short, when I have heels that are 14 cm, that makes me 174cm! which is waaaay too tall for me to feel like myself! I actually enjoy being short!
Another reason I love them is because the toe is not too pointy (making my feet look weirdly hugee) and not too rounded (making my legs look weirdly hugee!).

I have retarded boobs. They're lovely and all, but impossible to find gorgeous bras that fit. One brand I openly love is Playboy. another, is Satin Indulgence. Today I went into Bras n Things and bought a bra/undie combo I've been eyeing off for ages!!!
Too cute right? I love Satin Indulgence bras because even though they don't come in 8s, the 10 is a really small fit!! The 10 is tighter than most 8s!! <33 Tha bra was $60 and the cuteeeee little g was $25. I don't usually spend $25 on undies, but these are gorgeous! and if I'm going to get a gorgeous bra like this, I will buy the matching undies!

Annnnnd. Onto my OOTD :) Simpleeee, but that's how I do
Ohhhh, also did a small drug store beauty haul yesterday. But I'll do that in another post :)

I hope everyone else is loving life as much as Iam :) love youuu.
