Haul: 25/9 + Review

Hello hello!

Yesterday, after work, I caught up with my friend and did a little bit of shopping. Only bought a few things from Priceline though!

Here's what I purchased:

Ill do some tincy tiny little reviews on each of the items incase any of you are interested.

Face of Australia Lipgloss in Balmain - $ 3.57

Its such a gorgeous colour! Its like a metallic soft purple, but its very sheer. Its very moisturizing, and its definitely become a staple in my purse! I got this on sale, the normal price is a dollar or two more.

Savvy by DB Lipgloss - $4.95

Yuhhk. Dont like this stuff! But thats just my opinion. Its not moisturizing and its dull and boring.

Australis Fresh & Flawless Pressed Powder - $11.40

I bought this in "Natural". It claims to be oil free, and fragrance free.

Australis Fresh & Flawless Foundation - $12.95

This foundation, on the surface, has many reasons why you should purchase it:

• Cheap - under $15 for 28ml!
• Oil free
• Fragrance free
• Wont clog pores
• SPF 15

However, In my experience today when I tried it on and went to work, it may not CLOG pores, but it does NOT hide them in anyway! By midday the foundation was half gone! and my pores were so huge and noticable *Cringe*

Also, on my pessimistic role, the application was dreadul. I had to practically drag it across my face, and it left a streaky effect all across my cheeks and nose. I tried to blend with my foundation brush, and this did help a bit but it still looked cakey.

Oh wells, Not much lost, only a days worth of disgusting makeup and $15. :) Im glad I tried it though!

*** I may try using it again tomorrow with my ModelCo primer, maybe this will affect the durability of the foundation, and also the way it sits on the skin.

Today I did a little bit of shopping in town. Didnt really buy much though! Im sort of broke until my next pay check (Wednesday WOO HOO!) but then Im buying a Dell Mini Inspiron :) In pink! Soooo excited!

The 2nd Book of the Twilight Series - New Moon $22.99

I dont usually read but Ive decided if Im going to get into it I may aswell read something thats actually interesting! So I dont have to pretend to enjoy reading, Maybe I actually will! The book is so well written! It makes you feel like your THERE.

ModelCo Lash + Brow Growth Activator $42

I shall be doing a review on this!!! It says it will take 2weeks for result, so I shall show you a before and after at the 2 week mark, and then at the 1 month mark :) Fingers crossed!

+ GIFT I love ModelCo's gifts! they always have the best giveaways! this was a 4 piece set - 3 lipgloss/lipstick duos, and a Black Extension Mascara.
I also bought this gorgeous bag! From Acoustic Stomach - It was 50% of their brand, so this was only $50!!! Bargain :)

The 3 Lipgloss shades are Passionfruit, Lychee, and Watermelon.

The 3 Lipstick shades are Peony, Kitty, and Nude.

They smell so good! Like a huge fruit basket mixed with candy :) Yummy yummy.

Hello Lovelies!

Ive been a tad busy the past few days so thought I may aswell update my blog with some of the items I have purchased recently! :) Hope everyone is doing okay!

1. Palmers Natural Bronzer - great stuff! Buildable, and very natural looking for pale people like moi!
2. Biore Nose Strips - Love/hate relationship with these! They do unclog some pores, but not all. If I over use my nose gets dry! Ill always use these those, I think its a pyschological thing seeing the pore gunk on the white strip afterwards.
3. Simple Light Moisturizer - For under $10 this moisturizer is amazing! I love it, I always use it if I cant afford expensive brands. You all should definitely try this!
4. Lush Fresh Farmacy - Have only started using this, its definitely different to apply! Im used to cetaphil or exfoliates, so its weird making a lather.
5. Lush Bath bomb $7.50
6. Face of Australia lip gloss $4.95
7. Revlon Palette below

These are the most gorgeous spring colours! Very light and airy fairy :) I played around with the colours a little bit! Just for fun :)

then today I popped into Priceline and bought a few more things! Not that I really needed any of them!

1. Eco Tools Makeup Powder Spongers
2. Henna Earth & Body Hair Treatment - Under $6! Cant wait to try this out, Will give a review on it :)
3. Dusk Vanilla Oil - Smells so yummy! My room always smells like Vanilla, Mt Annan or Plum Delight!
4. Art of Makeup Lip Palette below ---- $3!!

The colours are gorgeous! They look so delightful together in the one pot :)

FOTD: 13/9 + Swatches

Here's my face of the day :) I look a tad angry haha. I used MAC Mineralized Finish all over my face for a nice "glow".. It looks better in person though! Promise! :) Ps Thats my cat Noonie.

I found this palette this morning while I was looking through my old makeup storage. I think the colours are really pretty! It just a palette from BYS which is considered a "cheap" makeup brand. But they always have funky stuff! Great neutrals and some fun out there colours :)

Haul: 11/9

Ive had such a busy busy day today! Woke up at 7am (waaay to early for me!) and headed straight into town, read the latest WHO magazine, and went to work. Work was exhausting! Im a waitress so I get loads of blisters! Its so unfair. Does anyone know how to prevent or treat blisters? My feet get so sore!

Simple Face Wipes
I bought these because every on here seems to love them! I used to use the light moisturizer in this Range so I thought I may aswell try their face wipes! Good quality for such an affordable price!

Rimmel Renew and Lift Powder Foundation

Love this stuff! I bought this in Ivory ebcause Im currently using their Lasting Finish foundation in Ivory as well; The two of these items go together so well! I remained flawless all day! I only had to touch up once.

Australis Creme Eyeliner

I bought this becausethe cute little brush applicator that comes with is just way to gorgeous to resist! Haven't tried applying it yet but Ill definitely use it when I do a winged eyeliner look sometime soon :)

Naturalites False Eyelashes

The word "natural" got me hooked. Im not a fan of the whole big dramatic false eyelash look, only because there is no way in hell Id be able to pull it off! However, those who do pull off falsies I envy quite a bit! I havent tried these on yet but when I do ýou all will be the first to see! Hit or miss, we'll find out soon!

Natio Face Mist

Im on a mission to find the best face mist stocked in Australia! Ive recently become obsessed with these gems ever since I used the Rose Balancing Mist from Jurlique! Its great for an afternoon refreshment! Cools you down and makes you feel alive.

So that is what Ive purchased today :) Has anyone tried any of the items Ive purchased?

FOTD: Smokey Eye

This morning I attempted a smokey eye again because Im really trying to perfect it! Practice makes perfect, right? :)

Its not overly smokey or anything, there's no eyeliner on the bottom lash line, just the top.

So its a natural version of the original smokey eye :) Hope it looks okay!

Ive been reccomended several types of brushes for blending, So hopefully Ill be able to purchase a couple to help me out :)

Clear Skin Project: h2o

So they say that you are what you eat.

So in the next few weeks Im going to be putting that theory to the test! Whilst Im on my quest for clear skin Ill be blogging my accomplishments and also my down falls through out this journey.

So step 1 is eating well, So I started off last night with some fruit salad (yummy, yummy!), green tea, lots of water (I had to pee several times during the night!) and also a multi-vitamin that my doctor has suggested I start taking several times.

The multi-vitamin is DIS-GUS-TING! Yhhuuukkkk!!!

But apparently its good for me (and not neccessarily my taste buds). The label on the bottle reads:

"A Nutritious tonic of herbs, vitamins and minerals to support recovery from illness and improve general well-being. This balanced dietry supplement packed with nutrients helps restore good health."

Some of the "good for me" ingredients are gingko, ginseng and selenium.

Is anyone else trying to improve their skins texture/appearance?

Does anyone have any healthy skin tips to share?
