Update

Hey everyone!
Just updating everyone on a few things..

Firstly, bout my nose. I got the cast off on Tuesday (few days ago) which CAINED! Im astound at the things the doctors dont tell you bout Rhinoplastys. It felt like someone was ripping duct tape off my face! and when he took the actual cast off, I swear my nose was gonna go with it! I actually said "Can we have a break?" half way through cos it hurt so much! Then I got 2 external stitches taken out of my cheeks, and I still have like 10 disolvable ones inside my nose.
ANYWAYS would love to do a FOTD but its way swollen, and still bruised! But believe me, as soon as I can put makeup on (still can't touch my nose, too sensitive) I'll be showing you all.

Secondly, came into my room today and my favourite Inglot e/s was broken :( But it was on my dressing table? not on the floor? I don't know how this happened!! It was my favourite Inglot e/s, I have like 5 of them.. I hate all of them, except this one, the others aren't pigmented enough.
Anyways, what should I do? Is it still use-able??

On a happier note, I did a swapsies with my sister today. Her friend gave her a lipgloss the other day, and she wore it this morning, and came into my room, and I asked her if that's the new gloss, and she was like "Yeah, I dont like it, makes me look washed out"
So I, very kindly, offered to do a trade with her! She can have my Rimmel eyeliner (which she steals) and I can have the lipgloss :)
Its probably the most pigmented gloss I have. Usually I go for sheer, with a bit of colour. But like with this one, the colour you see in the tube, is the colour you get on your lips!
I love it :)

Lastly, I got the new Cleo magazine today and it came with a free Maxi dress. I am 160cm (tiny tiny) and apart from Nicole Richie, I dont really think small girls can pull Maxi dresses of?

I wonder why all my pictures are turning out all spastic? They looked fine before they got uploaded! ah wells :)

From Top Left: Steve Madden Patent Leather Heels, Johnsons Dreamy Body Lotion, Napoleon Perdis Liquid Veil, Loreal Elvive Treatment, MAC Eyeshadow, Burts Bees Lipbalm, Garnier Eye Roll On, She Eye Dust in Empress Dust, Loreal Telescopic Mascara, Lush Celestial Moisturizer, Be Yourself eyeshadow Pallette.

Why I Loveee...

...Steve Madden heels, because they give me 14cm in much needed height! And theyre actually comfortable - Well, for heels!

...Johnsons Dreamy Body Lotion, Because its inexpensive and makes your skin so soft and silky from the first use!

...Napoleon Perdis Liquid Veil, It gives a gorgeous glow that you usually only get in summer; with this magic potion you can have it all year round!

...Loreal Elvive TReatment, because it has helped my hair without hurting my wallet, love!

...MAC Eyeshadow in PHLOOF!, because it has a cute name! Lol jk. It can be used as a eyeshadow for a hint of colour, or as a highlighter for the inner corner of the eyes or even on the temples and cheek bones! Such a gorgeous colour.

...Burts Bees Honey Lipbalm, because its only $6.95 and lasts several weeks with continuous usage! Its the new paw paw cream (In my opinion!)

...Garnier Eye Roll on, because it's great for early mornings (damn them!), somehow it magically rids your eyes of dark circles! Its also invigorating putting something so cold under your eyes in the morning! Great wake up call :)

...SHE eyedust in Empress Dust, because it has a gorgeous texture and a vibrant gold colour that stays put all day long!

...Loreal Telescopic Mascara, if you don't already know that I LOVE this stuff to pieces then you probably don't read my blog often. I rave on about this stuff always! Separates and lengthens so wonderfully.

...Lush Celestial moisturizer, honestly, I have only used this stuff once! I was using Jurlique Calendula cream (which is excellent!) but Ive swapped over to Lush because of the price difference! Lush Celestial is literally half the price of my usual Jurlique moisturizer!

...Be Yourself eyeshadow pallette, because it has 48 colours(Or close too, lol too tired to do the maths right now!)! Theyre all beautiful and all last long enough; And it was under $10 !!! Bargain!

Ps This is my cat Noonie!! Shes also an August fav!

Get Set!

Liquid Veil in Moscow Pink $30
What They Say: Crave a hint of colour? Try this super lightweight, barely there tint.
My Opinion: I love(love, love, love, LOVE) this stuff! You can use it either under foundation or just by itself. It gives the skin a luminous glow (which is what this range is for) and adds my dimension to my skin. It also has which as Pomegranate extract to protect the skin as an added incentive to buy this. However, when they suggest "barely there tint" I giggle to myself. It has a LOT of pigment, and is quite "glittery" (hard to find a better word!) So I haven't worn this alone; Id feel like a Christmas Tree ornament!

Memory Foundation in Light $30

What They Say: A tinted moisturizer that creates younger, dewier skin.

My Opinion: If you have combo skin this isnt for you! This is for people with normal to dry skin (or mature). The cover is just the same as any tinted moisturizer, and besides the fact it had no staying power it did give a nice glow to my face. Its pretty good value too!
Not a fan of their foundations - Only because they're a bit too pink-based for me!

Sweater Set $39

What They Say: Gorgeous cheek, eye and lip colours for your softer side.
My Opinion: The colours really are gorgeous! You can create a lovely soft and well blended pale eye, or you can switch it up to night time and use the dark brown to make a classic smokey eye! Brilliance! However, I only use the one light pink lip colour, so it's disappointing to waste the other two! Its most probably just because Im pale as (MAC NC20) and the other colours seem to "deep" for me. The blush is a nice coral/peachy shade that blends well and feels like silk! The colour is subtle, but Im sure you can build it up to make your cheeks really pop! All in all, it's a great handbag staple for on the go makeup application! Has everything (but mascara) that you'd need to look your best :).

Still To Try:

  • Primers! ($39) Ive tried thePre- Foundation primer and it made my skin flawless, but didn't seem to prolong my foundation wear time! So there's a new pore minimizing one that Im just dying to try!
  • The Concealor set ($36) Looks great - However doesn't have a green tint! And I NEED green to cover my rosey red cheeks :)
  • Baked Powder ($30) Its a dual blush - Definitely would like to try it out as a highlighter!!!

I love Napoleon; Definitely in my top 10 fav make up brands!!! Always have quality products and great colour range! (Minus their foundations, sorry!)

Whats everyone's favourite make brands?
